Recruitment · Berlin and Brandenburg

Your staffing backbone.

Anza Trade helps craft and hospitality businesses in Berlin and Brandenburg hire skilled workers and apprentices from Ukraine. Employment is direct with the business, with no temporary agency work; we advise in German, Ukrainian, Russian and English.

What a staffing backbone is.

A staffing backbone is a fixed point of contact in the background of your business: someone who knows the people before proposing them, who knows your needs before the next position opens up, and who is available on every working day. This is how Anza Trade works.

  • People we know

No one is proposed whom we have not looked at first.

  • A portfolio, not a claim

An introduction video and work samples, not just a CV.

  • Available on every working day

A person who knows your business, not a ticket system.

  • Advice in both directions

You say whom you need. We say what we see.

  • A selection for every request

No database, no pile of CVs.

You receive contact details as soon as you request an interview. Until then, contact runs through us.

Preview. Name, person and details are invented.

Orders are not your problem.

You turn customers away. Not because you want to, but because the shift is not covered. On Saturdays you are in the kitchen or out on site yourself.

Why it has not worked so far.

The chamber advises. The Federal Employment Agency runs the job board. The job centre passes people on. Each of them does its job. But none of them is tasked with bringing you one particular person and vouching for them.

Temporary agency work

A different legal model. You hire staff on loan instead of employing them, with reporting and liability duties of its own. Not built for an apprenticeship that takes several years.

Traditional agencies

High fees that are rarely transparent.

Contacts and groups

Works in a single case. It does not scale and gives neither you nor the person a legal basis.

Between the institutions and the business, the link is missing.

They are already here.

More than 1.2 million people from Ukraine live in Germany with protection status, more than in any other EU country. More than half of the adults hold a university or technical college degree.

The contract is directly between you and the person. We never become the employer and never stand in between.

With a residence permit under Section 24 AufenthG, a person can start within weeks, not months.

What you should know right away. Temporary protection for people from Ukraine applies across the EU until 4 March 2028. It has been extended every year since 2022. We cannot promise a further extension and we do not pretend to. For a permanent contract, this is a risk you should factor in deliberately. We name it ourselves, because otherwise you would find out later.

And the language?

Around half of the businesses that have hired internationally before name language as the biggest hurdle. Not the bureaucracy.

We cannot promise you flawless German.

CEFR level, as stated by the person. You decide who works alone and who works in a pair for now.

Where we start.

We do not cover every trade and do not claim to. We started where the gap is largest and where our candidates actually bring experience.

Apprenticeship or regular employment: both are possible. What suits you depends on the person, not on a programme.

Focus on Berlin and Brandenburg. If your trade is not listed, say so when we talk. We will tell you honestly whether we have someone.

When it fits. And what it costs.

When it fits

There is someone on your team who did not come for one season. They stay, learn the language, want their qualifications recognised and often go for the master craftsman title.

55+

Almost half of the business owners in western Brandenburg are over 55.

8,000

businesses with 32,500 employees face a handover within ten years. According to KfW, the decision is more and more often to close.

We do not promise you a successor. But people who want to stay for a long time are the only group from which one can grow at all.

What it costs

We agree the terms with you in writing after the first conversation, before you sign. How they are structured we discuss in that conversation, because eight employees and twenty-five are two different situations.

The candidate never pays anything, to anyone. The law limits what jobseekers may be charged for a placement. We charge them nothing at all.

Tell us who you are looking for. We will get back to you.

Which roles you are looking for, from when and roughly how many people a year, plus your business and email address. We reply by email; after that, you decide whether there is something here for you.

Where we stand

We have no paying customers yet, and we do not show you other people’s reviews in place of our own. That is exactly why we ask for a conversation, not a signature.

Whoever joins now helps shape how the whole thing is built, and works on terms that will not exist later.

Role

We use your details to handle your request. How we handle your data is set out in our privacy policy (in German).
